This is a part of a larger image that I might never finish ... I'm not sure if I should add blood or injuries - the noble character of the lion might be harmed ...
I used photo reference for this painting. Hard to find a lion and an antelope that would model for me, even if I offer the lion a big T-Bone Steak ... the antelopes always run away screaming =)

Wow I was sure it was a photograph! This is so amazing, one of the best lion-hunts-antilope pieces I`ve ever seen! I mean it! the light and the strpng vibrant colors are so utterly beautiful! May i ask wich program u used when u drew this....please don`t say Photoshop!^^ great pic I must :+fav: this!

I luv the texture you created for their fur. Great work of art.
I agree with you about the blood. It would take away some of the effect of the title too.
